Tverrfjellhytta in Norway, Scandinavian design, much wood and the best balcony before the wild nature

Excellent, that´s the way to define the work in wood made at the wooden cave at Tverrfjellhytta Observatory in Dovrefjell National Park, Norway. A woodcarved cave in curved shape, protected by an extra-wide-screen glass window that gives peaceful views of the surrounding nature. Scandinavian design, who said wood doesn´t match cutting-edge design?

A cave with interiors in eroded wood style, looking like rocks or ice punished by the forces of nature, placed inside a steel rectangular frame in a project conceived by Snohetta , the Norwegian architecture studio that signed the Oslo Opera House. Tverrfjellhytta observatory is situated in a natural park of great beauty like Dovrefjell but the forest and mountains around it are not everything. Wild reindeers, artic foxes and musk oxes can be seen from this unforgettable place.
