Last week of August, temperature finally getting down, sunlight begins to change and inevitable September is coming up with its return to school, job and postholidays depression, new intentions, football everywhere… and its good things like a better weather and grape harvest that, now, we´d like to suggest you to enjoy in a house stylishly decorated, an ideal and refined house to make a short break with friends.
We are talking about Casa Josephine in Sorzano (La Rioja, the worldwide known region of wine in Spain), a project by Iñigo and Rodrigo Aragón, creators of Josephine Deco, an architecture and interior design studio that sometime ago refurbished this building for low and easy enjoyment. Is that what people call low life?, in that case we like it.
Enclosed in Sorzano, a nice 200 inhabitants village in La Rioja, this is the perfect place to rest and let oneself go after a wine tasting day in any of the marvellous Rioja wineries where to make wine tourism and admire the architecture of some of the most outstanding architects worldwide like Frank Gehry, the prestigious winner of the Pritzker Prize – Marqués de Riscal Wineries -, the Iraqui Zaha Hadid, settled in London and Pritzker Prize too – López de Heredia Wineries -, Santiago Calatrava – Ysios Wineries – or the only Spanish architect winner of the Pritzker Prize, Rafael Moneo, who signed the building of Logroño City Council. La Rioja, a full delight for all senses.
